Marketing Operations Budget Manager needs 3+ years’ experience



Marketing Operations Budget Manager requires:

Marketing Operations Budget Manager duties:




  • Cross-functional collaboration: work with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, project managers and budget owners to support Global Marketing spend

    • Vendor management: track use of vendors by service provided; coordinate review of Scope of Work (SOW) and Non-disclosure documents with Procurement; facilitate use of approved SOW and NDA templates; manage process for approval and onboarding of new vendors; submit monthly vendor report to Finance

    • Marketing resource management system support: meeting regularly with budget owners to revise campaign forecasts as needed; create new campaigns for tracking marketing spend; distribute budget reports upon request; input annual budgets by funding account; reconcile draft journal vouchers and perform other accounting month close functions; update monthly foreign exchange rates in MRM system

    • Accounting liaison: process system journal vouchers for domestic and international intercompany spend transfers, receipts and accruals; support campaign owners for late vendor payments or expedited payment requests

    • Balance sheet account support: request amortizations for annual support agreements; facilitate management of Global Marketing corporate balance sheet prepaid and accrual accounts

    • Forecast process management: work with campaign owners to eliminate system forecast variances against actuals across various budgets; provide forecast variance explanations upon request; generate monthly forecast reports monthly and upon request; process budget snapshots in marketing resource management system; input annual budgets by funding account and update upon request; circulate forecast calendar to budget owners

    • Purchase order and credit card support: initiate Purchase Orders and deliver to requesters within standard SLA; attach spend approvals to marketing campaigns; process credit card payments; reconcile credit card transactions to marketing resource management system
