Miller International, Inc., designer of Cinch and Cruel is searching for a Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our Marketing team in our Fort Worth, TX office. Whoever fills this position will be responsible for supporting the Sponsorship and Social Media Team traveling to events and executing the companys presence through deliverables and content creation. Specifically but not limited to the CINCH and CINCH Worlds Toughest Rodeo social media and event marketing tasks.

Salary: $40,000- $50,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Contribute to CINCH and Worlds Toughest Rodeo social media channels to include but not limited to; scheduling, ideation, and content creation. Travel required.
  • Collaborate and assist the Social Media Specialist, gathering content, brainstorming campaigns and doing tasks and research as assigned.
  • Travel to CINCH sponsored events and WTR rodeos gathering and producing content in real time.
  • Assist with day to day marketing team activities including warehouse organization, event packing, shipping and some administrative tasks.
  • Assist with analyzing and communicating for incoming sponsorship requests.
  • Assist Sponsorship team with week-to-week deliverables with various sponsored events, i.e. ordering product, sending signage etc
  • Assist Sponsorship Specialist with planning and execution of deliverables at events relative to sponsorship activation.
  • Assist with sponsorship activation duties while at events; presenting awards, providing marketing deliverables, maintaining on-site communication with sponsor representatives etc
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables you to get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

Requirements

  • Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Interest in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, communication and/or technology. 1-3 years marketing experience.
  • Travel- Be able to travel up to 30%, must have acceptable driving record.
  • Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as processes and operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization.
  • Mathematical Skills - Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Very strong analytical skills and exposure to standard costing and related accounting concepts.
  • Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Technology Skills - To be successful in this position, the individual must have knowledge of a variety of software applications. Some applications include social media platforms, word processing, spreadsheets, and database and presentation software.
  • Western Industry experience a HUGE plus.
  • Strong ability to work effectively both on a team and independently
  • Ability to work effectively with employees from multiple departments, customers, and vendors.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Punctual and professional
  • Retail experience a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and time lines within a fast-paced, often changing environment
