Join Performance Optimal Health as a Massage Therapist. Here at Performance, we take a holistic approach to health and recovery, ultimately striving to empower all clients to live better lives. Each of our clients undergo a unique Optimal Health Assessment which allows us to tailor their plan of care to their specific needs. The services we offer are based upon the Four Pillars of Optimal Health exercise, nutrition, recovery, and stress management. We have highly trained professionals in all four pillars, who make the clients journey their priority.
With just over 20 years of experience throughout Connecticut and New York, we have successfully launched our first site in Naples, Florida. We are excited to continue growing and building upon our Massage and Wellness Team as a whole. Specifically, we are looking for someone who specializes in pre- and post-natal work. We are seeking an individual with a passion for health and wellness and a willingness to work within a team of individuals focused on impacting the lives of our clients in a positive way. Our Massage Therapists are expected to provide wellness solutions for our clients. Key Areas of Ownership
- Must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Responsible for performing Optimal Health Assessments on all new clients and again upon re-evaluation.
- Transcribing all information regarding client's history and massage therapy services performed, and completing progress note after each session.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage and the importance of scheduling regular appointments in addition to other Optimal Health services that would help them achieve their health goals.
- Responsible to communicate with fellow providers to ensure full circle, team approach to wellness and client care.
- Communicate effectively with Wellness Lead
- Tailor all treatment plans to clients health conditions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate degree or certification equivalent.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, and some weekends.
- Valid state license in Massage Therapy and accreditation by the Commission on Massage Therapy (COMPTA).
- Certified pre and post-natal massage therapist.
- 2+ years of experience as a massage therapist (preferred)
- Experience working with pre and post-natal clients.
- Ability to travel between several Performance locations.
