Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused individual to join our team as a Roofing Material Runner. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18-$20 per hour, along with benefits. As a Roofing Material Runner, you will be responsible for traveling between job sites to ensure materials are readily available where needed. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, demonstrate high energy through a sense of urgency and a strong work drive, and prioritize delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Travel between job sites to transport roofing materials as required.
- Coordinate with the roofing team to determine material needs at each site.
- Load and unload materials from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Keep accurate records of materials delivered and received.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and team members regarding material availability and requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is properly stocked and in good working condition.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy materials. Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
