1 Resource Group is seeking a Materials Coordinator to join our team in the manufacturing industry. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the materials inventory, coordinating the delivery of materials to job sites, and ensuring that items are correctly labelled, stored, and organized. As part of our professional/technical team, the Materials Coordinator will work closely with our management and field teams to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of materials.

Responsibilities

• Manage the materials inventory and ensure no material shortages occur.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials to job sites and ensure that items are correctly labelled and stored.
• Interface with suppliers, field teams, and management on all matters related to materials control.
• Develop and implement inventory control measures to maximize inventory accuracy.
• Generate and maintain accurate reports on inventory levels, material usage, and material availability.
• Work closely with the site management team to ensure materials are ordered in timely and cost-effective manner.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality, quantity and specification.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years experience in logistics, supply chain management or material coordination required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Prior experience working in the construction industry is a plus.
• Proficient in computer skills; Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
