The Ross School seeks a Math Teacher for its East Hampton, NY location to teach middle and high school students. Specifically the job duties include:

• Engage students using new teaching methods, tools and technologies.
• Create, implement and document Mathematics middle and high school curriculum to meet domain standards and benchmarks.
• Administer assessments, assignments and projects.
• Evaluate student performance.
• Write progress reports and learning evaluations for individual student records.
• Mentor junior staff and students with a special interest in the course material.
• Advise students requiring behavioral and academic support.
• Participate in professional development workshops, faculty meetings and parent-teacher conferences.
• Update parents on their children's progress by phone and email as needed.

Req. Bachelors in Mathematics, Education or equivalent field. One year of exp. as Mathematics Teacher or equivalent must be at the secondary or university level and must include at least one semester teaching Statistics at the AP or university level.
