We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Calibration Technician with 3-4 years of experience and either Military metrology technician training or associate degree in a related field to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical calibration and familiarity with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical calibration on a variety of equipment, including but not limited to, torque wrenches, pressure gauges, ring gages, temperature/humidity and micrometers.
  • Use various calibration instruments to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment that does not meet calibration standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly labeled and identified.
  • Participate in audits to maintain compliance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
  • Assist with other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in mechanical calibration.
  • An associate degree in a related field or Metrology Technician military training.
  • A strong understanding of mechanical calibration principles and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Military calibration training is a plus.
