As a mechanical engineer youll be responsible for designing color mixing luminaires and associated control products for one of the most iconic brands in the industry.

What youll do



Responsible for the design, realization, integration and testing of mechanical components and (sub)systems, for lighting fixtures and lighting controls based on design specifications in accordance with the functional specifications.

Execute and manages product design from concept to production including design, prototyping, debug, validation, testing and certification. Enforce high quality design methods throughout product cycle to ensure product quality , reliability and safety.

Make key component, materials and processes decisions , in accordance with the product needs and company guidance.

Work closely and in collaboration with al the other functions , to ensure that all requirements are being achieved.

Address regular maintenance business needs , such as components and supplier changes , and the associated documentation updates.


Your qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field



Product design experience



Experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD software and PDM Pro



Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products



Familiarity with injection molded plastic, die cast, and sheet metal design and with manufacturing methods & processes



Experience using product life cycle management and documentation control tools for the release and maintenance of product design documentation

Salary: $ $86,300 - $126,610 USD
Bonus:target bonus opportunity - 5%
