POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to our operation in the Dallas, TX area (link removed) This is a strategic contract to direct position. We are increasing the amount of mechanical work we do with our customers and need someone with strong mechanical automation design who can come in and lead and coordinate projects from the mechanical side. They will work directly with our controls staff as well on projects. Solidworks experience is key. Someone coming from product design is not what we are looking for. They should come from automation equipment.
Education and/or Experience Review update or change
Bachelor's Degree (B.S.M.E.) from four-year College or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills (AutoCad, Solidworks, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Effective Verbal and Written Communication Skills
