Our Washington area client has an immediate need for a Mechanical Designer to help in their New Product Development efforts.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design parts and products cost effectively through improvements of existing product or new products


• Determine best use of parts for assembly


• Create and revise customer drawings as needed as well as updating BOM’s


• Design parts for cost and ease of manufacturing

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Design and 2+ years’ experience

• Energetic and a problem solving outlook


• Inquisitive, what are new ways to solve a problem and/or design a solution


• Experience with GD&T will be helpful
