to join our LiFi Engineering Team in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

LiFi is a new emerging optical wireless communication technology andas a Mechanical Development Engineer youll be responsible for the mechanical design (from concept development all the way up to manufacturing) of newSignify TrulifiLiFi products.


What you'll do

Participate in the entire product development process from concept to product release in the market.
MechanicalCADdesign,mechanical simulations,testing, and documentationof new products, parts, and assemblies of LiFi products
Design for assembly, dis-assembly and manufacturability.
Collaborate with cross functional project teams (System architect, Electronics engineer, optical engineer, thermal engineer, design team and validation team) to ensure requirements are met in regard to cost, performance, safety and compliance.
Update and maintain development reports and generate innovative ideas.


What youll need

Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related.5+ years' work experience in product development.
Strong mechanical background with knowledge of material properties, industrial metal and plastic tooling and a great drive for getting things done.
Familiar with mechanical design software including parametric modelling,(Siemens NX preferred)
Experience with Opto-mechanics and/or Mechatronics is a strong plus.
Excellent knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
Ability to work in innovating and emergent technology domain.
