Job Description:

As a Product Engineer, you'll lead mechanical engineering activities for the development and commercialization of medical disposables. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally to understand end-user needs, translating them into design specifications, and ensuring a well-tested design. Key responsibilities include defining requirements, conducting parametric analysis, designing layouts, and leading a major R&D project focused on compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Review and update legacy design control documents to meet current compliance standards.
• Decompose system requirements into mechanical design, analyze and solve problems.
• Lead design activities, including architect layout, sub-assemblies, and component design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product integration and performance realization.
• Interpret requirements, rationalize design choices, and use quantitative approaches.
• Design, assemble, and evaluate rapid prototypes to assess technical feasibility.
• Work hands-on to develop engineering prototypes and collaborate with external suppliers.
• Qualify and select optimal parts, ensuring projects meet scheduled deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-educational professional experience.
• Fluent in CAD modeling using Solidworks or ProE.
