Job Description

Advanced Product Design Engineer - MR Coil

In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better.

The position will play an important role in the development of new concept or product coil mechanical designs adding to the portfolio of RF Coil products, especially on transmit coil design and development.

You are responsible for
designing and developing detailed mechanical parts for coils, including the whole system coil housing, coil connection.
Design and develop detailed mechanical designs for MRI RF coils to full product release. Engaging in all phases of new product development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.

You are a part of
MRI R&D, RF Coil & Patient Environment R&D team.

To succeed in this role, youll need a customer-first attitude and the following:
*Qualifications/Requirements
1. Minimal bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience (10 years for BS degree holders, 5 years for master's degree holders, 3 years for PhD. holders).
2. Understand & knowledge of full product cycle from concept to mass production.
3. Understand & knowledge in Industrial, Usability, Workflow design and user experience design.
4. Working experience with direct-customer-interface product is a MUST, e.g., coffee machine, shaver, etc. The design experience of MRI RF coils will add points.
5. Experience in components design for appearance parts, structural parts, connector, cable, with involving material in Plastic, Rubber, Sheet Metal, Die-casting and Standard parts.
6. Experience in 3D/2D drawings design by CAD software e.g., PTC Creo.
7. Understand & knowledge in Simulation of strength and thermal (Static/dynamic analysis) and dynamic thermal simulation.
8. Knowledge in regulatory requirement in Medical Device industry 510K, ISO13485, IEC6060-1 add points.
