JOB REQUIREMENTS

Educational: colleague or higher education holder in Mechanical/Machinery Engineering.

Working Experience: The minimum requirements for the machinery/mechanical engineers position are 5 years experience in pressure vessel, tank, pipeline and welding techniques. Desirable to have Piping stress analysis experience.

The engineer should be familiar with basic math, precision measuring, and materials of mechanical.

Possess good oral and written communication skills, preferable with English language.

Able to work independently as well as in a team player.

Basic office software operation.



PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Ensure to comply with AP and local safety, health and environment standard, fulfill the mandatory safety requirement and activities: safety training, safety meeting, BSP (APT, JSA etc.) and all other requirements by AP EH&S and local regulation.

2. Monitor the serviceability of plant equipment and facilities and ensure they adhere to safety, housekeeping and environmental requirements.

3. Responsible for the maintenance of all pressure vessels, tanks, relief valves, exchangers, pipe line, flare detections, life support system, critical safety system and other mechanical system.

4. Support in inspection planning, code design, regulatory compliance, quality control standard, equipment repair, and fitness for service.

5. Support to develop Inspection Planning and Repair Procedure under the guidance from PSM and MIQA manuals.

6. Interpretation of corporate standards as well as recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices such as ASME and GB Codes and API Documents to sites.

7. Performing equipment design, inspection, fitness for service evaluations and failure analysis for mechanical integrity system Development and updating of corporate standards.

8. Implement and manage engineering requirements to satisfy equipment selection, maintenance and reliability initiatives.

9. Inspect Pressure Systems (including Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Fired Heaters, Reformers, Storage Tanks, furnace, Piping) during plant outages / normal operation and evaluate results for recommend repair, Input for development and maintenance of Pressure System standards, procedures, best practices, inspection contracts and contractor service.

10. Response to maintenance requirements that could be scheduled or unscheduled/emergency jobs, on 24/7 base, prompt response to requests for assistance and putting in the time and effort to meet our customers expectations.

11. To be familiar with all equipment in plants, maintain all mechanical equipment accurate documents integrity and equipment history database reachable.

12. Provide hand-on technical skills at the troubleshooting and all related maintenance work or supporting work responsible.

13. Perform preventive maintenance work and support to implement MI work, such as SAP PM01-03 tasks, troubleshooting, repair for all responsibly equipment.

14. Coordinate or assist of supervision the contractors work in the facility or shop to guarantee safety and quality and reliability.

15. Continually to drive productivity and cost savings and enhancement through improved work process and equipment performance. Initiate and Implement CI (continuous improvement) saving projects.

16. Reporting-Time entry weekly, and prepare technical reports either written or through entries into the resource management system to maintain accurate documentations on the plants, and to provide information for others in the organization to carry out their responsibilities effectively.

17. Provide mechanical system diagnostics services in troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues using vibration diagnostics tools and failure analysis techniques. This includes issuing failure analysis reports and cost effective recommendations for reliability improvements.

18. Develop mechanical equipment job-packs for major overhauls and repair.

19. Initiate and implement reliability and/or efficiency improvement initiatives and best practices on operating machinery and focus on CoNC.

20. Provide installation and commission support for new large machinery [e.g. Compressors, turbines.] ()
21. Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns. Provide technical and hands on support as required during shutdowns.

22. Spare parts inventory review and parts purchasing support technically, effort in plant reliability improvement.

23. Keep abreast of and evaluate new methodologies, work practices, for application and use within the plant.

24. Assist in the development, implementation, and periodic review of preventative/predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned shutdowns and improve overall plant on stream capability.
