Meck Pre-K Assistant Teacher | Huntersville
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a NC Meck Pre-K Assistant Teacher for our NC 4-Star school in Huntersville.

Pay Range: $14 - 17 per hour, based on education, experience, and credentials.

Teacher Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with co-teacher, utilize the NC Meck Pre-K curriculum to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and beyond.
- Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Document and share with families the important milestones in a childs day using our app.
- Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
- Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.
- Adhere to state licensing, health, fire and quality rating procedures.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education -OR- a minimum of 9 credit hours in ECE working towards an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
