- Obtain/record patients' medical information, measure/record their vital signs, weight & height in EMR system
- Record patients' medical history and test results in EMR
- Vaccine administration to newborn through adolescence
- Perform basic lab draws including newborn screening, finger/heel sticks
- Collect blood, tissue or other lab specimens, log the specimens & prepare them for testing
- Assist providers in exams and minor procedures, as well as removing sutures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean, maintaining supply inventory in exam rooms
- Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies
- Phone consultation with clients regarding test results & health concerns
- Triage and process all messages to physicians & other healthcare providers
- Maintain all logs & required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.)
