Medical Device Package Engineering needs 3+ years relevant Package Engineering experience 





Package Engineering requires:





Ø  3 years relevant Package Engineering experience 

Ø  Knowledge of glass vial, labels, folding carton, corrugated, and transport packaging. • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ø   Strong analytical, problem solving, insight generation and critical thinking skills 

Ø  Self-initiator, results driven and action & detail oriented Preferred

Ø  Familiarity with GS1 Barcoding Standards a plus.

Ø  Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator a plus. 

Ø  Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel.

Ø  Strong project / program management skills 

Ø   Ability to effectively work within a cross functional team to expedite completion of critical project tasks. 

Ø  Working knowledge of the validation requirements for Medical Devices.





Package Engineering duties: 





Ø  Assist in driving improvements throughout supply chain/cold chain 

Ø  Generate Package Testing Protocols and Reports aligning to ASTM and ISTA standards. 

Ø  Develop Packaging specifications, Packaging Work Instructions, and Bills of Material. 

Ø  Design Packaging for Manufacturability, performance, at optimum cost. 

Ø  Work with Packaging Vendors to create mock-ups of new design concepts. 

Ø  Provide technical feedback on equivalency of replacement materials due to cost or obsolescence issues. 

Ø  Track and report progress at project and departmental meetings. 

Ø  Awareness of packaging trends, process improvements, and new technologies.
