Job Title: OSApplication Developer/ Encompass Developer Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Job Description: Minimum 4 + years C# or VB.net and Visual Studio and JavaScript development experience 1+ year(s) of Encompass Development experience desired or previous development on other Loan Origination Systems. Minimum of 2-year development in mortgage lending experience preferred.Understanding of the mortgage industry life cycle of a loan, products, and policies Strong programming in .Net and JavaScript with ability and familiarity of high level of customization of code to a loan origination platform; preferably to the Encompass Loan Origination System Ability to manage 4 to 5 active initiatives (support and/or projects) with 7 to 10 total in the queue at any one time Work on projects that are significant impact to the business Preferred knowledge around Mortgage Software Applications such as Ellie Mae Products Encompass 360,Encompass SDK,TPO Connect, Velocify, Consumer Connect, Loan Officer Connect, Developer Connect, Webcenter, Mavent, Optimal Blue Nice to have: Elle Mae Encompass Developer Certified Must have strong communication skills as well as the ability to write clean and clear documentation.Able to clearly communicate with team and product group. Always learning willing to learn and comfortable working in a fast paced environment where there are weekly deployments of new features and processes. You must be comfortable shelving code and current projects and pivot your development efforts as business priorities shift. Roles and Responsibilities Provide development expertise with .Net and JavaScript programming as it pertains to the highly custom Loan Origination System (Ellie Mae Encompass 360) Implement new features for Encompass 360 Loan Origination system and supporting applications such as: Automate loan creation process using Encompass SDK standalone app Develop plugin such as lead creation app using Encompass SDK Create and automate new features, processes and workflows for loans. Build new screens, calculations and permissions Create an interface to DU to retrieve Day1Certianty data using form base dll Develop proprietary data extract scripts to extract encompass data for various third-party consumption Develop custom plugin for Encompass application to interact with data warehouse using C# and .Net Framework Create web APIs for Encompass consumption using .Net core 2.0 framework Write form base code within encompass to capture UW productivity Perform SDK updates Design and document application functionality Work directly with Business to understand and provide technical solutions to meet business needs. Work with project managers and business and IT to establish project timelines Work on projects such as create a standalone fee calculation engine that gives borrowers an accurate fee schedule Perform peer code reviews to ensure proper coding practices are followed Analyze and coordinate system updates with vendors in our customized environment Create build and deploy instructions for release team Provide 3rd tier prod support for BAs and Deployment staff Analyze production defects and implement processes to mitigate future risk Foster teamwork and collaboration and communicate effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions that enhance the Loan Origination system and organizational effectiveness Complete special tasks as assigned by manager as needed
