Description

The Loan Processor is responsible for processing mortgage loan information as well as validating applicant data and supporting information entered into our loan processing system and within Encompass. In addition, this position reviews documents submitted within a given module and develops a proficiency for quality and accuracy.

  • Maintains or exceeds established individual loan production metrics from management.
  • Works production queue in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Issues initial loan disclosures and required state forms.
  • Issues re-disclosures for valid changes of circumstances.
  • Adheres to TRID regulations and issues initial loan disclosures and issues re-disclosures.
  • Reviews data, tasks and documents to authenticate and validate information entered into the system.
  • Supports and assists closing manager in requests and reviews of title documents.
  • Performs verification of employment, both written and verbal, as requested/required.
  • Contributes to quality efforts of the Mortgage unit and contributes to teamwork by providing support in the department and throughout the organization.
  • Completes file maintenance on all mortgage loans as instructed to meet compliance.
  • Gathers all requirements and prepares loan for underwriting approval.
  • Effectively communicates with customers via chat and email.
  • Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory

Education/Certifications: Highschool diploma or equivalent work experience

College degree preferred

1 year experience Experience:

Effective PC skills including word processing, internal and industry standard systems. Ability to learn to use additional applications as needed.

Must be detail-oriented and able to perform all duties accurately.

Demonstrate strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Basic understanding of business technology including web-based applications and computer use.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to complete assigned tasks in a paperless technology-based environment.

Strong ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced multi-task environment

Ability to work well with a team.

The ability to maintain or exceed established individual loan production metrics from management
