The main function of the Motion Production Manager is to manage the day-to day workflow and timeline of motion-based projects, motion is to include all projects that require live action video, 3D animation, 2D animation and photography. This role requires an elite level of organization with special attention given to building organizational processes. Must be a self-motivated team player and will require managing timelines of multiple projects and priorities in short order.

You will continuously look to improve the functionality and productivity of internal teams. You will evaluate motion/video focused industry and help direct our future growth path for our department. You will manage projects with the ability to wear many different hats, from on set, hands on, to managing the time and flow of the motion team.

You will help to build a robust project tracking system with roll out and implementation across the team as well as day-to-day management. You will be integral in the building out the scope of work as well as pricing out of motion, video, and photography-based jobs.

Role:

  • Manage the day-to-day workflow and timeline of motion-based projects.
  • Air traffic control of project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello etc.)
  • Look for areas of growth from a product point of view as well as team function and growing trends.
  • Be a hands-on media producer when required.
  • Manage scopes of work and pricing requirements for motion and media-based work.
  • Manage the organization and licensing of all stock assets.

Requirements

  • 3 years experience in a project management role, with portfolio/examples of work.
  • Live action video/motion team experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in building and implementing process.
  • Team lead/team management experience.
  • Creative portfolio a plus.
