Job Purpose
The Moving Lights Department Tech Maintains And Prepares Inventory For Rentals In Compliance With ORPL Standards.
Responsibilities
1. Filling daily orders.
2. Maintaining Inventory.
3. Maintaining Work Area.
4. Miscellaneous Help.
1. Filling daily orders for rentals by:
- Pull and fill assigned orders ensuring equipment has been prepped to ORPL standards.
- Check out all rental equipment on orders to NEXUS using either a barcode scanner or manual data entry.
- Accurately label cases with show information; order number, customer, date & show name.
- Deliver rental product to the appropriate staging area by the time and date indicated in NEXUS.
2. Maintaining inventory to ORPL standards by:
- Follow all ORPL prep procedures to ensure equipment is maintained to Christie Lites standards.
- Check equipment that does not pass prep standards into service.
- Package and store equipment that is not immediately needed for rental.
- Periodic inventory counts as required.
- Inform the supervisor of inventory inaccuracies.
3. Maintaining work area by:
- Ensure all tools and supplies are returned to proper storage at the end of the shift.
- Ensure rental product is stored in an approved ORPL manner.
- Clean and sanitize workstations daily in common areas as assigned. Remove recycling and waste to the appropriate disposal areas.
- Inform the supervisor of low stocks of supplies.
4. Miscellaneous help by:
- Assisting in all other departments as directed by the supervisor
- Assisting with warehouse projects directed by the supervisor
- In this position have the opportunity to join the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
