We are excited to be experiencing tremendous growth and adding to our team to meet the needs of our clients. Our mowing crews will report to a location at 44th and Broadmoor in Kentwood.
Mowing Crew Leader Job Duties:
- May work alone or oversee one Crew Member; this is a working crew leader position
- Give directions and assign work at jobsites
- Ensure each jobsite is completed to site specification and Tender Lawn Care's quality expectations
- Drive a company-owned vehicle while pulling equipment on a trailer
- Operate commercial zero-turn mowers according to company specification for cut and height
- Perform string trimming and edging at job sites
- Utilize backpack blowers to clean surfaces after mowing and trimming is complete
- Work in a safe, efficient and timely manner
Schedule: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm; some Saturdays and overtime as required
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00, commensurate with experience
Job Location: 44th St and Broadmoor in Kentwood
Requirements
- Must have 2+ years working in a mowing capacity for a commercial lawncare company
- A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to communicate with others in an effective and positive way
- Ability to manage workload and work independently
- Possess an open mind towards learning and taking direction to meet Tender Lawn Care's quality expectations
- Attention to detail and an eye for excellence
- Ability to be on time to work until the day's work is complete
