EIA is an all lines adjusting firm providing services in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, West Texas and Southern Utah.

We seek multi-line field adjusters with a minimum of five (5) years of claims industry experience preferably with an Independent Adjusting Company.

Previous experience with captioned reporting, field investigation and time & expense billing (T&E) required.

Casualty Experience

Under the general supervision of a Claims Supervisor or Claims Manager, the adjuster, within a specified geographical territory, shall be able to demonstrate the ability to conduct multi-line casualty claim investigations in accordance with client instruction. Shall be self-motivated and discipled.

We are looking for people who are logical, rational, self motivated and posses the FITFO gene.

Adjuster must have active knowledge of jurisdictionally required Fair Claims Practices.

Field Investigations require timely scene investigations, Cold-Call Canvassing for witnesses, Police/Fire Report collection, as well as the collection/preservation of claim related evidence. Must possess the knowledge and expertise to conduct detailed telephone and in-person recorded, signed or video statements. The adjuster must be able to identify coverage questions, provide recommendations and an accurate analysis of all issues in exception written detail. Must also be able to review, evaluate, and provide detailed analysis of damages with settlement range recommendations to the client as well as negotiate first and third party claims within the authority provided.

Executive level writing & verbal communication skills and associated professional demeanor required.

Ability to follow company policies and procedures regarding investigation, analysis presentation and captioned report formatting required.

Property Experience

Knowledge of Best Practices and Fair Claims Practices. Under the general supervision of a Claims Supervisor or Claims Manager, the adjuster, within a specified geographical territory, shall be able to demonstrate the ability to conduct 1st and 3rd party commercial property claim and 3rd party residential property damage claim investigations. Adjuster must be able to demonstrate the ability to prepare Captioned Reports, Proofs of Loss, Statements of Loss, Insurance-To-Value Reports (ITV), Full & Final Releases and negotiate settlements within the authority provided by the client. Candidates must be Apple computer literate, and possess and be experienced with Xactimate (or other approved property estimating software).

EIA works in an Apple environment exclusively. All candidates must be computer literate, and be experienced with iWork Suite (Pages, Numbers, Keynote).

As these are work-from-home positions, we require the candidate to demonstrate a strong organizational skill-set as well as having the ability to operate independently while simultaneously creating exceptional customer satisfaction through the deliverance of the highest quality claim service.

We do not provide any equipment.

Adjuster must possess the basic tools of the trade at the time of hire (i.e., computer, digital voice recorder with telephone adapter, digital camera or smartphone, tape measure, ladder, etc.).

This is an On Call position requiring 24/7/365 availability to respond to After-Hour Emergency Dispatch assignments.

Adjuster must supply a copy of their Independent Multi-Line Adjuster License and redacted writing samples for this position.

E&O Coverage is provided by EIA to its adjusters.

Compensation shall be commensurate with talent and experience.
