Job Responsibilities:
Providing support and guidance to team members (Fund Administration Analysts) on their tasks, and assuming responsibility as needed, which includes:
* Supervising and analyzing NAV calculations performed by delegated service providers for accuracy.
* Assisting in audit coordination, resolving audit queries, and providing feedback on financial statements.
* Supporting jurisdictional tax and other regulatory reporting requirements.
* Understanding trial balance activities, including income, expenses (including management & incentive fees), derivative transactions, currency implications, and dividend distributions.
* Researching and resolving any identified operational issues and promptly notifying management.
* Ensuring the teams deliverable deadlines are appropriately resourced, monitored, and achieved.
* Providing timely feedback and support to internal and external queries or requests.
* Collaborating effectively and communicating with team members and business partners.
* Initiating process documentation, training, improvement proposals, and implementation.
* Leading ad hoc special projects including fund launches, liquidations, and data requests.
* Ensuring fund compliance with relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., IRS, SEC, CSSF).
* Reviewing fund and investor level distributions and tax reporting documents.
* Providing constructive feedback to team members to enhance performance and supporting the Accounting Manager in the evaluation process.
* Assuming the leadership role of Accounting Manager as needed in times of absence.
