Ultrasound Tech
Wytheville, VA
Travel required up to 20% of the time
Produces diagnostic procedures on anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site radiologist.
Will need to take an ultrasound call every third week.
Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations
Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record and adapt procedures as appropriate to
anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images
Uses independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between
normal and pathologic findings
Analyses; sonograms, synthesize sonographic information, medical history, and communicates
findings to the appropriate physician
Must haves
- One year of previous ultrasound experience
- AART (S) or ADRMS
- BLS within 30 days of hire
Nice to haves
- ARDMS plus ARDS (RVS) and/or RDCS
