13 weeks assignment, 18 months experience current required in large ED/Urgent Care. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
CERTS: BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS certifications required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.SHIFTS: 12 hour N shift position. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends, holidays and float as needed. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. SCRUBS: Required and not provided by the facility.
