Flexographic Pressman - Mark Andy P5 Press (14 Colors with Hot and Cold Foil Stamping)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Flexographic Pressman to operate our state-of-the-art Mark Andy P5 Press with 14 colors and Hot and Cold Foil Stamping. This position is for our 3rd shift, from 10 PM to 6 AM, and comes with a dollar shift differential. The hourly rate for this role ranges from $22 to $30.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate the Mark Andy P5 Press for printing shrink sleeves and pressure-sensitive labels for bottles across various sectors in the food packaging industry.


• Monitor the press during production to ensure optimal print quality and make necessary adjustments as needed.


• Troubleshoot and resolve any press-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.


• Conduct regular maintenance on the press to ensure it remains in excellent working condition.


• Collaborate with the production team to meet production schedules and ensure timely delivery of orders.


• Keep accurate records of job specifications, ink usage, and press performance.


• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a Mark Andy P5 Press or similar presses, such as Comco, Nilpeter, Gallus, Aquaflex, or Omett, is highly desirable.


• Proficient in setting up and operating flexographic printing presses.


• Knowledge of Hot and Cold Foil Stamping processes is a plus.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high print quality standards.


• Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve press issues quickly.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.


• Willingness to work the 3rd shift from 10 PM to 6 AM.
