A day in the life:


As our National Industry Marketing Manager on the National Marketing & Communications Team, youll work closely with serving as a strategic partner to industry strategy teams and the MMA National Industry Development Leader in developing and executing marketing programs and projects. This person will be a collaborative and innovative individual to the team. This role involves leading a team of industry marketing specialists to support business development and go-to-market strategies across all industries.

Essential Functions:

Develop, oversee, and execute strategic marketing plans and programs tied to business objectives, with particular focus on campaign strategy and proper identification of target audiences and channels. Monitor performance and marketing return of investment. Work with national industry development leader to determine the business plan objectives and develops corresponding marketing plan, with prioritization on revenue growth. Set the annual marketing and communications strategy for industry which is closely tied to the marketing budget and revenue goals. Manages the budget annually, ensuring it is spent wisely and that overspending does not occur. Deepen our association engagement strategy and establish performance measurements. Surface and leverage regional content and expertise. Develop and oversee a stronger industry event presence across MMA. Alignment and partnership with sales leadership colleagues across assigned industries and/or centers of excellence including development of cohesive sales enablement tools. Develops timelines and project work plans to ensure marketing efforts stay on target and deadlines are met. Performs special projects, as assigned.

Wed love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business or related area preferred. MBA a plus. Must be willing to further education in applicable areas. 5 years of experience or equivalent knowledge in the industry or a B2B environment is required. Possess an excellent understanding of relevant digital channels and platforms and knows how to use them to maximize marketing efficiencies. 5 years of direct management experience. Ability to think strategically and implement tactically; good analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exceptional ability to prepare and present information; expert skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of CRM and automation platforms capabilities and understand how they are utilized in measurable marketing efforts. Driven to solve problems and apply new methods and technologies. Well organized, strong attention to detail, and self-motivated. Adaptable to ever changing environment, ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Passionate, action-oriented, results-driven individual who enjoys people and engaging internal clients. Strong, independent worker but also a collegial team player, willing to contribute whenever needed to accomplish goals and meet deadlines. Demonstrated project management capabilities to handle tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and the ability to find creative solutions. Experience working within an executive team. Exercises confidentiality and discretion.


Work Environment

Remote Work This position requires an environment conducive to driving virtual team audio/visual meetings on a regular basis. Position may require periods of travel as needed, up to 10%. Extended work hours required on occasion.


Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $98,910 to $184,485. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
