Natural/ADABAS Developer Position Description Position description Make a difference in the lives of children and families across the country. Child support is a critical source of income for many families. The Title IV-D Program at the federal, state, and county levels is instrumental in helping families obtain support for children. But the establishment and enforcement of child support orders often has a disparate impact on individuals of color and those who have traditionally been subject to unequitable treatment. This position is to be part of a collaborative effort to strategically advance diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in child support programs. This project will address technology limitations that prevent an accurate look into how the program is impacting parents. The child support program is operated on a legacy, mainframe system with a limited ability to collect race and ethnicity data from program participants. This technology limitation makes it difficult to measure equity. This project will demonstrate to other states how to make simple technology updates that result in improved accuracy and an expanded breadth of the data needed to facilitate an equity assessment and study the impact of the child support programs on people of color. Future duties and responsibilities As a Senior Mainframe Natural/ADABAS Application Analyst/Developer, you will provide advanced professional knowledge and skills in information systems problem identification, requirements definition, and provide the analysis, design, development (coding), testing, implementation and support of Mainframe Systems.
