IT Concepts is looking for an experienced .Net Developer to support our Server Refreshment Project at the Social Security Administration.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, build, modify, and maintain inter-active/dynamic websites using Microsoft .Net, PowerShell, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in accordance with SSA best practices and 508 standards.
  2. Develop web-based applications that will meet the request requirements of the processes outlined above and other division processes as identified by DSA management.
  3. Meet with process stakeholders and technical writers to develop and design processes according to SSA best practices.
  4. Create and develop batch processes using the following languages: Microsoft .Net, Microsoft Batch, PowerShell, and JavaScript. These batch processes will be in support DSAs Logical Access Development activities.
  5. Ongoing improvements to processes including web-based applications, VB scripts, and SQL databases in accordance with SSA best practices and policies using VB.Net.
  6. Modifying existing .Net web pages and scripts to reflect process changes and improvements.
  7. Manage and follow code developed by the work activity through the SSA lifecycle including penetration testing, 508 testing, validation testing, and DIET testing.
  8. Write Microsoft .Net, PowerShell, CSS, and JavaScript code needed to migrate applications and Logical Access related forms to DSAs Systems Access Management (SAM) website.
  9. Completed code shall be checked into DSAs code repository with a written description that describes the changes being made.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with more than 10 years of IT experience
  • Experience developing with the following languages: C# and ASP.Net, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and TSQL.
  • Experience with the MVC framework of ASP.Net
  • Experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Confluence, BitBucket.
  • Experience with Active Directory and other LDAP systems.
  • Experience and Knowledge of industry web development standards and 508 best practices.
  • Experience and Knowledge with secure programmatic practices.
