Role: Netcool Developer

Location: ONSITE in Southlake, Texas **this is not a remote position, depending on client's work schedule, could be hybrid

Job Description:

Looking for a Tivoli Netcool/Omnibus (Fault Monitoring) developer. The candidate is responsible for providing development and implementation support (capability enhancements, etc.) for the various Netcool component systems. These include Omnibus, Probes, gateways, WebGUI, JaZZ, Impact, Cognos/BI Reporting, Netcool Operations Insight (NOI).

1. Strong experience in installing, configuring, and upgrading Netcool suite of products like Netcool/OMNIbus, Netcool/Impact, WebGUI, JazzSM , gateways ( uni, bi , ticketing etc.)
2. Integrating third-party systems with Netcool.
3. Developing and troubleshooting probe rules.
4. Writing automations and impact policies.
5. Programming/scripting ( Python, Shell Scripting, Perl, CGI, Java/ JavaScript, HTML, CSS ).
6. Understanding Linux operating System.
7. Understanding of Networking and databases.
8. Understanding of ITIL process
9. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
10. Excellent oral and written communication skills
11. Ability to interact professionally with executives, customers, vendors and department staff.
12. Excellent analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
