Title: Network Construction Technician Location: Denver, CO Duration: 6 months with extension Fully Onsite Can Travel upto 100 miles Daily Responsibilities: Conduct building maintenance, including replacing outdated equipment, upgrading the network, and ensuring that building equipment is installed to our standards. Be on call to assist with network outages. Pull and terminate Cat6 and fiber optic cables. Install and test copper and fiber cabling and associated peripherals. Make required cross connects. Install radio mounts. Point microwave point-to-point radios. Perform installation/construction duties, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Respond to after-hours emergency calls. May perform residential in-home customer installation work as needed. Work outdoors for 8 hours a day, in all weather conditions. Assist with construction buildout, including pulling cable, installing conduit, installing microwave point-to-point radios, and installing backbone fiber networks. Skill/Experience/Education Mandatory1+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry. 1+ years of experience in network construction. 1+ years of general laborer experience. Knowledge of fiber optic cabling, fusion splicing, and related technologies. Understanding of mmWave radio installation and maintenance. Advanced troubleshooting skills for routers, switches, hubs, and streaming devices. Experience with fiber OSP installation. Education: High School diploma
