Overview
Our client is looking to add to the Network Engineering team. Seeking a Junior to Mid-level Cisco Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and intermittently improving our current network configuration and infrastructure. This will be an onsite role, which will evolve into a hybrid model.
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing computer networks, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, and ensuring their smooth operation.
Configuring network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, as well as network management tools.
Monitoring network performance and identifying and resolving network issues, including network connectivity problems, capacity issues, and network security breaches.
Participating in the planning and execution of network upgrades and migrations.
Developing and maintaining network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology
3-5 years of experience in network engineering.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are also preferred.
Pay Transparency: $85,000 - $90,000 DOE. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
