Our client is looking Network Engineer for Long term project in Plano TX/ Mclean VA below is the detailed requirements.

Job Title : Network Engineer

Duration : Long term

Job description:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in handing network operations for large enterprises
• Good experience in troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, telephones, and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services
• Good understanding of LAN, WAN
• Support Network environments including IP address schemes, DNS, WINS, Ether-Channel (Bonding), etc.
• Provide network security systems administration support to users for:
• Check Point Firewalls, Blue Coat proxies,F5 Big IP, Cisco switches, routers & ASA,InfoBlox IPAM, etc
• Competency in Cisco platforms is a requirement and any experience with Arista and Python scripting
• Working knowledge of Riverbed Monitoring tools, Gigamon, and NetScout
• Experience in Cisco IOS, NX, Nexxus routing and switching
• Experience with Cisco ISE
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) will be a plus.
• Good understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)
• Coordinate activities with other system areas and vendors, and deal with network security systems planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing and servicing
• Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, telephones and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services
