(Star Pipe Products Ltd. has an opening in Houston, TX) Network Security Analyst: Design, deploy, and manage secure TCP/IP network solutions to support company objectives and strategy. Provide planning, implementation, and support for the continual delivery of network services in the event of a disastrous event. Analyze and report on network traffic to support capacity planning and anomaly detection. Communicate status quo, known issues, emerging risks, project plans, and project progress. Stay abreast of current and emerging networking and security technology, best practices, intelligence and threats, and malevolent hacking practices and procedures. Provide training to the IT team in India (from the U.S.) as required/appropriate. Requires a Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related. Requires completion of university course-work, research project, or internship involving: (1) Networking: OSI (Open System interconnection) and use of Velocloud , SD-WAN configuration/management, Cisco Catalyst Switches, and router configuration, Fortinet firewall; and (2) Cyber Security: Use of offensive, defensive and network operation, encryption, and end point security.
