North American Toxicology Director - $150-160K + Bonus – Bulk Chemical Ingredients Manufacturing - Accountable for providing leadership and technical development for the Toxicology team, with effective talent recruitment, succession planning, and performance management. Set strategic direction for the North America Toxicology experts in support of the global and Product Safety agenda. Provide delivery of toxicology programs and projects in support of early stage research, new active ingredient development, and product life cycle management for North America and global business objectives. Drive scientific excellence by implementing research and developing new capabilities in toxicology to meet short and long term business demands. Actively contribute to the strategic directions and techno-regulatory project discussions as a member of the North America Human Safety leadership team and global Technical Management Team. Serve as a key interface for external partners and stakeholders in toxicology, effectively build and maintain relationships with CROs, consultancies, and regulatory authorities. Ensure operational excellence by establishing and continuously improving processes for project management, resource allocation, and budget planning. Represent the business externally by interfacing with trade groups and regulatory authorities on topics related to toxicology in North America.



 



PhD in Toxicology combined with 10-20 years experience working in EPA regulated industries (chemical, agrichemical, bulk pharmaceutical, biotech, or related companies). Broad technical expertise in toxicology (human and environmental product safety) as well as leadership of high



performing toxicology professionals. Solid understanding of data requirements and the business impact within relevant global and regional regulatory



frameworks. Proven track record of partnering with internal stakeholders (e.g., regulatory, product development) to maximize the delivery of business benefits. Demonstrated experience in managing external partners (e.g., CROs and consultancies) as well as influencing external stakeholders (e.g., regulatory authorities and industry groups).
