Russo's On The Bay, a highly reputable restaurant in the heart of Queens, is currently hiring for a part-time Bar Back position. As a Bar Back, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring guests receive an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service
- Ensure that the bar is fully stocked at all times
- Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving guests
- Keep the bar area clean and organized at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety in the bar area
- Provide excellent customer service to guests at all times
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience
- Must have previous experience as a bar back or in a similar position
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
Benefits
