Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Tech

Location: Modesto, California, United States

Job Description:

• We are looking for a nuclear medicine tech who can perform basic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment.
• You will work under minimal supervision and exercise professional judgment in providing healthcare services to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients of all age groups.
• You will also order, prepare, and identify radioactive substances, process and file films, and assist practitioners with radiation detection equipment.
• You will also receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment
• Order, prepare, and identify radioactive substances for nuclear medicine procedures
• Assist practitioners with operation of radiation detection equipment
• Process and file films as needed
• Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period
• Perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards
• Must be willing to take call

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree or equivalent
• Experience: Less than 1 year experience
• Certification and Licensure: ARRT in Nuclear Medicine, Certified Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT), BLS, California Nuclear Medicine License
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
