The Center for Clinical and Translational Science ( CCTS ) is seeking a highly motivated, professional Nurse Clinician to contribute to the diversity and excellence of our department and to assist the faculty and staff of our fast-paced research center. The CCTS supports campus research professionals to ensure they are able to meet their research goals and ultimately improve the health of our communities and populations. The CCTSs vision is to catalyze clinical and translational discoveries through an integrated and transformative research environment targeting improved health, with emphasis on underrepresented populations in Kentucky. In support of that vision, the Nurse Clinician will conduct clinical research in the CCTS Clinical Services Core. Responsibilities for this position include managing participant visits in a variety of settings (inpatient, outpatient or off-site) while assuring compliance with the research study protocol and applicable regulatory requirements. Following good clinical practice, this position will be responsible for collecting, recording, and maintaining data and source documentation utilizing database management and analytical computer software. Successful candidates must be able to prioritize workload and manage multiple research projects effectively and efficiently under pressure. This position requires a motivated team player who demonstrates flexibility, initiative, professional judgement, and discretion. The CCTS is committed to diversifying our staff and faculty.
