Title: Nurse Manager of Oncology

Location: Dallas, TX 75230

Duration: Permanent Role

Pay: $107K-120K (Depends on years of experience) + competitive benefits

Shift: M-F; 40 hours a week

796-bed tertiary care center located in North Texas. The facility is recognized for its state-of-the-art medical facilities and leading organ transplant program.

The hospital's robotic surgery staff are pioneers in performing minimally invasive surgery, which reduces pain, blood loss, and scarring, while also shortening the recovery period for patients. The facility also specializes in rehabilitation, heart and vascular care, and women's services, among other services. Medical City Dallas also detects and treats all kinds of cancer while providing a calming and secure environment for its patients and respective family members.

Job Summary and Qualifications

  • The Department Manager is responsible for all department functions in support of the hospital Mission, Vision and facility goals.
  • The manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department, taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers related to our service to the Oncology and Stem Cell population.
  • This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
  • The manager identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement.
  • The department manager works with Senior Management in meeting the goals of the facility and the Oncology and Stem Cell Units.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree, preferred.
  • Five-years of Recent ACUTE CARE management experience WITHIN UNIT REQUIRED

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider
