Job Responsibilities

• Function autonomously to conduct patient histories and physicals for complex critical, chronically ill, and acute patients.


• Order, perform, and analyze diagnostic and therapeutic tests concerning the needs of the patient, and follow up on a regular basis to ensure their needs are being adequately met.


• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to ensure the health and comfort of all patients.


• Implement measures to assist patients in regaining and sustaining physiologic endurance to include serving in the first assisting role.


• Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals and monitoring the effectiveness of all interventions.


• Facilitate the staff and the patient as well as the family decision-making process by providing educational tools for self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.

Locums, Inc. needs you! We have an immediate need for an OB/GYN Physician in Stockbridge, GA.  Client is a full time Women’s Health Clinic and the position is temp to perm.

 About the Opportunity:

- Need is Immediate!  

- 8-5 Mon-Thurs and 8-2 on Fridays; Lunch is 1.5 hours                                                     

- Malpractice provided

- 100% Out-Patient work with approx. 4 patients per hour

- No evening/weekend calls

- Primary functions of open role are GYN including pregnancy testing and weight management; OB roles handled by associate physicians. 

Requirements:

- Active and unrestricted Georgia state license

- Active and unrestricted DEA License

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
