Job Responsibilities The Angiography Technologist will be an individual capable of assisting the physician during cardiac or peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemakers and ICDs. He or she must possess the ability to perform radiographic work on several different types of radiographic equipment so that all work is completed in a competent, timely and efficient manner. He or she will assist with patient care and safety while the patient is in the Cardiac Cath or EP lab environment. Peripheral work is about 60% of this position. This is highly stressful, very busy patient care area. Exposure to x-ray and blood borne pathogens may occur during cardiac catheterization procedures. Long periods of standing are required with the use of lead aprons.Long periods of standing are required with the use of lead aprons. The Angiography Technologist will be responsible for rotating call for emergency procedures with a 30 minute response time if employed in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Job RequirementsGraduation from an accredited Radiology Program Current certification with ARRT in diagnostic radiologyPossesses a current license as a State of Ohio RadiologyBLS certificationACLS certification required1 year of recent hospital angiographic interventional experienceMust be versed in implant procedures, peripheral vascular procedures, cardiac and interventional radiology.
Shift: 10-hour Days, First Shift, 40 Hours per Week
