Overview
Perform application data services to support Control Systems ADMS related work to update relevant databases, functions, and associated displays as needed.
Scope
Perform electric ADMS circuit imports and other related data updates and activities for data modelling and power flow calculations.
Goals/Objectives
- QA/QC Incremental Circuit Updates (IU) daily and/or as needed according and adhering to the clients business needs, processes, and protocols.
- Ensure that the backlog of IU circuit exports from GIS waiting to be imported into OMS is minimal to nonexistent discuss circuit backlog and/or import strategy daily with OMS management.
- As requested by System Operations, QA/QC and import critical incremental updates as needed.
- Collaborate with the OMS team and receive their feedback and ideas to further automate and improve the QA/QC process by implementing at least 3 viable and effective enhancements.
- Develop ad hoc reports and displays as needed.
- Assist with IU updates for advanced apps FLISR, Fault Location, VVO, etc.
- Support OMS/ADMS team as needed as it relates to modeling and advanced DMS applications.
Requirements
- GIS experience preferred.
- Electric power distribution knowledge.
- Python is a plus.
- One or two days a week in the office will go a long way with training and getting up to speed.
