ENTRY-LEVEL OPERATING TECHNICIAN - 3RD SHIFT

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Here's the technical stuff but it's worth a read as this will be your daily to-do list!
- Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification.
- Ensure maximum efficiency of set-up to include set-up time, materials, production rate and material consumption.
- Machine readiness inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up.
- Identify issues, which adversely affect product requirements and communicate with appropriate department personnel for resolution.
- Package parts for shipment
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution.
- Ensure part quality meets established standards.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, as required.
- Complete all shift documentation/paperwork.
- Shift hand-off go over job status and updates with incoming shift.
- Participate in safety programs.
- Follow all established safety procedures.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
- Ability to operate forklift
- Other duties as assigned
WHEN YOU'LL DO IT
- 3rd Shift 10:50 pm to 7 am
- Monday thru Friday with Paid Overtime for Weekends

- Some manufacturing or related experience;
- Mechanical aptitude;
- Some communication abilities to meet training, safety & quality requirements.
- Ability to solve basic math problems.

WHAT YOU'LL GET
- Up to $21.30/hour based on experience
- Shift differential - $0.50/hour
- $2.00/hour extra after initial skill sets are mastered
