This position is responsible for performing software testing for Oracle EBS applications prior to releasing changes to the production instance You will be creating and maintaining manual test cases in HP Quality Center from requirements documentation and technical specifications. A QA Analyst performs the following: (1) compiles and research business requirements from system specifications and documentation; (2) develops and executes tests and provides input on documentation of project test results and issues with Quality Assurance team members and produces reports and test processes; (3) oversees project defect database; (4) provides and adjusts estimates on tasks before and during the product development cycle.

Education/Certifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field of study.

Work Experience:

Three (5) to five (8) years of QA experience or in a related IT occupation such as Developer or Business Analyst. Position also requires proficient demonstrated experience with the following: Oracle EBS, HPQC and Service Now.

Responsibilities :

Works with business users and IT resources on projects, enhancements and defects assigned by QA management.

Reviews functional and technical documentation with business analysts and developers as needed to understand upcoming changes to systems

Estimates testing time for each change assigned and reports to QA Manager, Project Manager to ensure proper time is allotted for successful test planning and execution

Produce and maintain test scenarios in HP Quality Center

Execute test scenarios and report success/failure of test execution, along with defects to project team

Work with project team to resolve and retest defects, maintaining history of resolution in HPQC

Review changes after successful test execution with other QA resources to ensure knowledge transfer to the entire team, via presentations, meetings as needed

Stays current on changes to systems and trends in quality assurance using internal training, outside resources, (online training, manuals, documentation)

Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA Processes and Methodology

Functional Competencies:

Solid experience testing Oracle EBS v12, along with an understanding of a wide range of Oracle Applications such as OM, ASCP, AP, AR, GL, Credit Control, Tax, Procurement

Must be comfortable executing end-to-end test scenarios in O2C, P2P, R2R
