We are currently seeking an Occupational Health Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for advising employers and employees on how to maintain a safe working environment, how to reduce workplace stress, and how to prevent illness in the workplace. 



As an OHC you will be instrumental in maintaining safe workplace conditions by educating workers on personal health issues and the company's safety policies. Observing current business practices related to the handling of hazardous materials or maintaining health and safety standards. Making recommendations to employers that can make a workplace and its standard operating procedures safer for employees. Providing specialized knowledge that can lead to increased employee retention, as well as reduced worker's compensation claims.



Job Responsibilities:

 

• Provide clinical assessments, direct care, treatment, and follow-up of work-related and non-work related health events utilizing corporate Standard Operating Procedures and nursing standards of care.

• Direct the development, implementation, delivery, and periodic review of appropriate policies, occupational health standards and procedures, employee health programs and strategies to ensure best in class performance, program effectiveness, standardization, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.

• Master's Degree


• Legally licensed to practice as a registered nurse or nurse practitioner in the state of employment and practice. 


•  3 or more years Industrial or Institutional Occupational Nursing experience desired.


• Certification as an Occupational Health Nurse. 


• Supervisory level nursing experience desired.
