Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing occupationaltherapy to children with developmental delays, physical disabilities, and other challenges thatimpact their ability to participate in daily activities. This will include conducting assessments,developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with families and otherprofessionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children. The Paediatric OccupationalTherapist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, as well asstaying current on developments in the field through continuing education opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of children's physical and developmental challenges using variousmethods, including observation, parent reports, and standardized assessment tools
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address children's challenges in daily activities
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes forchildren
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current on developments in the field through continuing education opportunities
