Senior Helpers of Las Vegas is seeking an incredibly proactive, resourceful and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with flexible weekday and weekend availability for our very busy and rapidly-growing business. Candidate must possess a “can do” attitude, stellar multitasking skills with a strong ability to juggle competing priorities, be well organized, energetic and professional.Responsibilities:




  • Answering phones and routing calls appropriately

  • Manage caregiver State-required training, certification and other expirations

  • HR Assistance including conducting new-hire reference checks and organizing new employee files

  • Data entry with a careful eye on accuracy

  • Filing and file organization

  • Generation, organization and stocking of company forms

  • Inventory and stocking of office supplies

  • Organization and office tiding duties

  • Handle on-call duty as assigned based upon rotating schedule (includes 1 week of handling on-call phone Monday through Friday from 4 30pm to 8am and Saturday and Sunday all day

  • Assist with scheduling and caregiver schedule management

  • Manage office schedule and calendar for events and assessments

  • Must be willing to pick up emergency shifts with clients pending call outs or inability to fill shift


Requirements:


  • Must be able to pass drug test and background check

  • Must have a valid two step tb test

  • Must have a valid CPR card

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in an administrative support role

  • At least 1 year experience as a caregiver

  • Unquestionable integrity and discretion

  • Exceptional and verifiable customer service skills and experience

  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment

  • Experience working with seniors

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially using the telephone

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat

  • Ability to learn new software programs quickly

  • Experience with heavy data entry and proficiency with 10-key entries a plus
