Job Overview:
In this role, you will closely collaborate with the Global Alumni Sr. Manager, the Americas alumni partner leads, and the Americas Marketing and Internal Communications teams to implement and customize alumni engagement strategies tailored to the Americas region. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around fostering connections and partnerships with local offices, practices, and regional leadership to ensure the success of our alumni organization launch.
This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week in the office. There is no option to be fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Alumni Strategy Implementation
Work with the Global Alumni Sr. Manager, the Americas Alumni Partner Leads, and the Americas Marketing, Internal Communications, and Events teams to implement Oliver Wymans new alumni engagement strategy in the Americas
Plan and coordinate alumni activities to deliver valuable engagements across offices and practice groups
Collaborate with regional leadership teams, internal communications, and marketing teams to integrate alumni engagement initiatives into internal colleague engagement and external marketing strategies
Provide hands-on guidance/support to local offices and Americas practices in the execution of events, communications, and other initiatives; above all, embody the mindset of prioritizing alumni
Alumni Engagement & Communications
Help develop and launch a series of engagement activity pilots with Alumni to learn what is most effective (e.g., social-oriented, topic-centered, industry-centered, career progression-oriented) in engaging alumni
Coordinate with the Americas marketing team to promote alumni events and initiatives externally, as well as create and distribute content through the most effective channels for alumni communications, including LinkedIn and other social media channels
Support practices and offices with all types of engagement events and communications related to alumni; actively identify and incorporate innovative low-cost/low-hanging-fruit engagement that practices or offices can implement
Work with Global Alumni Sr. Manager to develop, write, produce and distribute a regular global alumni newsletter
Collaborate with the regional events teams, practices, and offices to manage budgets for alumni initiatives
Deliver increased and consistent communications from Oliver Wyman on topics that our alumni care about (people, business topics, trends, etc.) using a variety of channels (email, social media, live events, virtual events, etc.)
Feedback Collection & KPI Tracking
Liaise with local offices, regional practices, and Global Alumni Sr. Manager to collect feedback on the performance of alumni initiatives, while identifying challenges and opportunities; utilize feedback to improve and update the strategies
Establish and maintain effective communication with partners to understand best practices/industry-specific materials to be shared with alumni in your region
Experience Required:
5-8 years of experience in Alumni, Digital Marketing, or Communications; ideally in a professional services firm focused on alumni engagement and strategy implementation
Proven experience collecting feedback and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of alumni initiatives and identify areas for improvement
Experience in budget management, including allocating resources effectively and ensuring financial accountability
Strong communication (written and verbal) and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective communication channels with regional practices, local offices, and alumni organizations
Proficiency or significant experience in:
Cross-functional team engagements, collaborating with stakeholders from marketing, human capital analytics, and regional leadership to foster collaboration and integration of alumni engagement initiatives
Event planning and follow-up, including tracking the performance and success of events to evaluate their impact on alumni engagement
Use of data-driven insights to inform decision-making and enhance regional alumni strategies
Coordination with partners to access best practices and industry-specific materials to be shared with alumni in the region

The applicable base salary range for this role is $79,000 to $121,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
