Job Overview:

The Events Manager is an integral part of the overall OW Global Events Team. This role involves leading events across Americas with a specific focus on producing firm and client events designed to deepen engagement and meet business objectives. The Manager will take lead in developing and implementing strategic and multi-faceted event programs, and supporting the delivery of a robust events framework in the region.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead the design and planning of events including conceptual design, speaker management, audience generation, event production (virtual, hybrid, in-person), post-event follow-up and analysis.

Ownership of individual event budgets and invoicing.

Work effectively with senior stakeholders across the firms network to deliver high quality attendee experience, against established objectives.

Ownership of operational topics such as local office event tool kits and communications to support event delivery compliant with firm policy and guidelines.

Provide consultancy services to I&C teams for internal/client events to ensure best practice and cost efficiency.

Act as central point of contact for all business staff (Partners, affiliated consultants and specialists), support departments and Executive Assistants, advising on event planning.

Support the Senior Events Director on flagship regional and global OW & cross-MMC initiatives across Americas as required

Independent execution of several strategic projects as required.

Identify key themes, innovation and trends in the industry to create compelling event designs and continually improve standards in our events offering.

Manage vendor relationship across multiple services from procurement to contract negotiation.

Coaching and mentoring junior members providing opportunities to build event management skillset.


Experience Required:


Minimum of 7+ years of event management experience across a broad range of events e.g. conference, seminars, round tables, networking events, virtual broadcasts and webinars

Previous Events Management experience from the management consultancy, 5 star hospitality industry or professional/financial services sector is preferable

Bachelors Degree Preferred

Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Experience with meeting management software and technology platforms such as Cvent, Zoom, MS Teams

The applicable base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $142,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
